What I have noticed is that creating a second nether portals about 2-300 blocks away in the overworld, will link to the first portal in the nether. When traveling back through the portal from the nether will take you to the first portal made in the overworld. This issue needs to be fixed quickly.

I consider baiting a ghast to strike the the portal an option, but I never go into the Nether without a flint-&-steel to make things easier. I once had a portal bug out on me: after stepping into the portal in the overworld, no portal was generated for me to return with, there was no obsidian frame or anything, so I had to suicide to return.

Maybe break the portal and rebuild it? If the bug happened when it was created maybe creating a brand new one will correct the problem. I just tried that in several places just now. i tried going to a farther away from the original portal incase it might send me to a new spot in the nether but still it doesnt work :^/. r/Minecraft.
That is exactly what I did, and elevation has nothing to do with it. The separation for mine was 7 east and 4 north. After creating both portals and testing them, the portal in the nether did not work as expected, and I think it's because it is too close to another portal in the nether. i broke the portal in the nether and went through the one in the strongold. That fixed it. It created another portal at another location. Tbh everything acts weird on bedrock (I’m also a bedrock player) Get the coords of the stronghold portal, and divide the x and z by 8.
Right now you've got both Portal 1 and 2 linked with Portal 3 (in the Nether) Go to your Portal 2 and write the coords. Divide them by 8, and then go inside the Nether. We’ll make an Ender Chest particle effect. First, grab a command block. /give @s command_block. Open it’s UI and set it to Repeat, Unconditional, and Always Active. Nether Portals don't spawn Zombie Pigmen. I recently built a zombie pigmen farm underground in the overworld. The design is as depicted here: 5 maximum sized nether portals next to each other with canals transporting the spawning pigmen to a falling damage trap. However my nether portals don't spawn a single zombie pigman in the overworld.
