2ndedition came out when GoT was at it's peak (2015, Season 6). The show was then subsequently run into the ground and any momentum the game might have had probably tanked along with it. Also, as someone who bought into 2nd edition and quickly gave up on it, I can tell you a couple reasons why. To fully play the game, you needed a second copy.
